an experienced

CATERING MANAGER

to lead a small, friendly team
Salary: £16,796 pro rata (£6,027 per annum)

and

a conscientious

CLEANER

to help care for the historic house and other public and staff areas
Hours: 15/wk Apr-Sept; av.4/wk Oct-Mar
Pay: £6.90/hour

Both posts involve flexible working, reflecting the open and closed season demands of the jobs

VOLUNTEERS

Kelmscott Manor depends on a volunteer team (currently over 80 people). The majority of the work is involved in stewarding the house on general public open days and group visits.  Other important tasks include: welcoming visitors on site and inviting Gift Aid donations; ticket sales; supporting school study days and workshops; stewarding concerts and other special events; supporting the restaurant and shop; and helping clean and prepare the collection for winter storage at the end of the season.
